Creative DNA: Kenya 4.0 programme is supported by the British Council Kenya. The programme has been specially created for early-stage fashion and accessories enterprises - providing business skill development through mentoring sessions, online campaigns and sales opportunities. T

About the Program

20 designers/enterprises will be selected for the programme and will receive business training by industry experts from Kenya and UK

10 shortlisted enterprises will have the opportunity to participate in professional photoshoots and be featured in the third issue of WAUZINE as well as benefit from national and international marketing and brand promotions. These brands will also have the opportunity to participate in a pop-up shop in Nairobi.

And on top of this, participants will have the opportunity to be shortlisted for seed funding to help them further with their business growth

Are you Kenyan based fashion and/or accessories designer / enterprise, specialising in either womenswear, menswear, jewellery, leather goods and footwear design, in your early stage of your career?

Criteria: Kenyan Based

- Early-stage fashion and accessory enterprise and have operated for a minimum of 2-3 years

- Be able to commit to a two-month development programme and be available for online mentoring for approximately 20 hours between November 2023 and January 2024 (schedule will be provided)

- Open and available for marketing and PR opportunities

- Must be able to supply a small number of high-quality finished item/s for sale in March 2024 in Nairobi (garments and/or accessory products)
