33rd World Design Assembly

Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) will be hosting the 33rd World Design Assembly will be held in Tokyo (Japan) from 27-29 October 2023. Under the theme of Design Beyond, the three-day event, will include a Research and Education Forum, an international Design Conference, as well as explore the evolution of design and its intersection with humanity, technology and the environment.

World Design 2023-2025 Young Designers Circle Application

With the goal of harnessing the creativity and ambition of the next generation of design leaders, World Design Organisation is now accepting applications for our 2023-2025 Young Designers Circle. 38th International Glass Conference

The 38th Şişecam International Glass Conference will be featuring the theme “Collaborate to Innovate: For a Sustainable Future.” The event will be held in a hybrid format in İstanbul (Turkey) on November 2-3, 2023.

The conference is an ideal opportunity to reach out to the world’s leading scientists and researchers and discuss the constantly expanding usage areas and endless potential of glass in creating a sustainable future. Taipei Design Award Award 2023

The call for submission for the 2023 Taipei Design Awards is now underway! Under the banner of ‘Design for Adaptive City’, designers from around the world are invited to submit their works in line with the competition categories of industrial design, visual communication design and public space design. Deadline to submit is 17 August 2023. Find out more

WDO Announces Shortlisted Cities for World Design Capital 2026

World Design Organization (WDO) announced two successful bids in pursuit to become the next World Design Capital® (WDC) in 2026. A bid from the region of Frankfurt RheinMain (Germany) and a bid from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) will move on to the next round of evaluation. Follow the conversation here
